3 Reasons You Should Go To Campus Community

Campus Community is the central gathering place for worship and spiritual growth here at Liberty University. All spiritual life flows out of this Word-centered worship service. Campus Community generally runs from 7–8:30 p.m. With an amazing worship team, world-class speakers, and a great community atmosphere, Campus Community is a wonderful place to spend your Wednesday evening. Are you still thinking about whether you should go or not? Here are 3 reasons why you should attend Campus Community:

  1. Build community. Right after Campus Community, you’ll get to meet with your Community Group to talk about what was preached and state your opinion on the topic. And in case you didn’t understand something, you can always ask your Community Group Leader (CGL) to explain it to you. This builds a better relationship with the people from your building, hall, or floor.
  2. If you are a student worker and work during Convocation, you can go to Campus Community. We know that sometimes schedules conflict and you might have to skip Convocation because of important reasons, but if you want to hear a sermon or spend time in worship, you can always go to Campus Community. You can also watch it online.
  3. It is good for the soul and mind. We are so busy doing homework, working out, and hanging out with friends that sometimes we need to sit down and relax. There’s no better way to relax than to learn about the Word of the Lord. A balanced life is a better life. Not only is Campus Community a good way to destress from all the worries of life, but it is a healthy way to relax.
