Liberty University Residential Calendar
Liberty University has many important dates that occur each semester. To help you stay on top of your busy schedule we have provided an easy-to-follow list. Whether you are in a Spring or Fall session, you can find your “can’t miss” dates and deadlines here.

Important Dates and Deadlines
Fall 2026
- November 1 – Fall 2026 students, once accepted, can access their math and English assessments in Canvas
- January 2 – Financial Check-In (FCI) Opens for new students
- April 15 – Registration opens for select new undergraduate students (must have paid the Enrollment Deposit before March 1 and have complete Financial Check-In and assessments before April 2)
- April 22 – Registration opens for all other new undergraduate and graduate students
- July 12 – Book Vouchers and Flames Cash available at Barnes & Noble
- July 29 – New Student Book Dollars available at Barnes & Noble
- July 31 – Flames Cash available
- August 14 – FCI deadline for new students
- August 19 – Residence Halls and the Reber-Thomas Dining Center opens for new students
- August 21 – Residence Halls and the Reber-Thomas Dining Center opens for all students
- August 24 – Classes begin
- August 24-28 – Add/Drop week
- October 1 – Book Vouchers/Book Dollars Expire
Summer 2026 (Some dates TBD)
- February – Registration and Financial Check In (FCI) opens
- April – Book Vouchers available at Barnes & Noble
- May – FCI Deadline for ABJ terms for summer
- May – Summer housing begins
- May 17 – Summer semester begins
- July – Book Vouchers/Book Dollars Expire
- August 20 – All summer classes end
Spring 2027 (Some dates TBD)
- September 9 – Spring 2026 students, once accepted, can access their math and English assessments in Canvas
- October 1 – Financial Check In (FCI) opens for all new students
- November 5 – Registration opens for select new undergraduate students (must have paid the Enrollment Deposit before Oct. 1 and complete Financial Check-In and assessments before Oct. 31)
- November 12 – Registration opens for all other new undergraduate and graduate students
- November 30 – Book Vouchers available at Barnes & Noble
- December 17 – New student Book Dollars available at Barnes & Noble
- January 8 – FCI Deadline for new students at 11:59 PM ($150 late fee applied on Jan. 9)
- January 15 – Residence halls open – new students (8:00 AM)
- January 18 – Spring semester begins
- January 18-22 – Add/Drop week
- February 26 – Book Vouchers/Book Dollars Expire
