When you're here for ExperienceLU, you'll visit our different schools and colleges and learn about the Liberty University Admissions process. You'll also be able to meet with an admissions counselor one-on-one and apply to Liberty for free. Students who apply also receive a free Liberty Flames t-shirt.

This schedule below is an example of a typical ExperienceLU visit that is arranged in no particular order and subject to change. To see a more detailed itinerary, select one of the dates above.
Check-In | Arrive 10 minutes prior to your group's start time at the Hancock Welcome Center where you will receive your materials for the day. Guests are welcome to enjoy coffee and water before their experience walk of campus.
Experience Walk of Campus| As this is an experiential walk of campus, students and their families can anticipate walking for the majority of the time with several restroom and shuttle breaks throughout.
Explore our primary academic facility | Discover DeMoss Hall, and learn more about our Center for Research and Development.
The Food Court at Reber Thomas | Explore our primary dining facility with your ExperienceLU guide while you enjoy some fresh fruit samples.
College of Applied Studies and Academic Success (CASAS) | Tour CASAS and learn about services such as testing, tutoring, academic advising, and class schedules.
Career Center | Hear from staff members in the Career Center and learn about jobs, internships, and career guidance services.
Student Advocate Office (SAO) | Get your questions answered about financial aid, housing, account holds, balances, personal issues, and roommate concerns by an SAO representative, all while learning how the SAO will support you as a student.
Equity & Inclusion | Hear from the communications director about our diverse student body and the mission of maintaining equity and fostering inclusion as accomplished with the foremost goal of glorifying God. You will also learn about support services offered for students who have documented disabilities or temporary medical conditions from the Office of Disability Accommodation Support.
Academic Speaker and Class Visit | Learn about Liberty's mission of academic excellence combined with biblical truth as you hear from our faculty and in some cases, experience a class in person!
Jerry Falwell Library (JFL) | Tour the JFL and learn about the academic services offered and their mission to foster an environment of research, learning, and community. On most ExperienceLU days, you will hear from the Library staff directly and receive an exclusive tour of the facility and its offerings.
Convocation | Learn more about Convocation and Campus Community before your visit. At ExperienceLU, you will have the opportunity to see firsthand what it means to gather with the student body in worship and hear from speakers from all walks of life. Convocation is subject to change and is not available for every ExperienceLU event. If you are trying to plan your visit around Convocation, you may contact us at ExperienceLU@liberty.edu for more information. Guests will also enjoy a sampling of a campus favorite, Chick-Fil-A.
Student Health Services | Hear from staff about health services for our students while on campus.
Check out Model Residence Halls | All students and their families will have the opportunity to explore two different residence options, The Commons and East Campus Residences. Guests will also enjoy a sampling of one of our many retail food options- Auntie Anne's Pretzels.
Recreation Centers | Explore our Recreation Center, Intramural, and Club Sports opportunities. We will make stops in various activity spaces like our student union, gym, and at some of our major athletic facilities such as Williams Stadium.
Admissions One-on-One | At the end of your experience walk of campus, we will bring you back to our welcome center and discuss the admission process, enjoy a variety of dining options from around campus, and then provide each student and their family a personalized admissions appointment with a counselor.
Experience Academics | Following your admissions one-on-one appointment, students from all ExperienceLU groups will have the chance to stop in at the various academic schools open houses from 2 - 4:30 p.m. This is a drop-in style and students, staff, and faculty will be happy to receive you. Faculty have limited availability during the summer and winter break months.
