Liberty University has the largest flight school in Virginia and offers an online Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics for students who are Air Transport Pilots or who possess a commercial pilot's certificate.
Students in the B.S. in Aeronautics degree program will gain a practical understanding of aviation plus the effective aeronautical decision-making skills needed for a career as a commercial, military or missionary pilot. Courses will help you gain comprehensive knowledge for safe flight operations including how to respond to various weather, aero-medical issues and legal responsibilities.
