Liberty University Intensives During your time at Liberty University, you may find yourself attending intensive courses on our beautiful campus in Lynchburg, Va. We are confident that your academic journey will be enhanced by this experience. Intensive courses allow you to engage with Liberty faculty and staff, explore our expanding 7,000-acre campus, and build relationships with your classmates. We are excited for you to get more connected to Flames Nation!

Intensives are week-long or weekend on-campus classes where students can interact with their peers and professors in a classroom setting.* For students who have chosen to pursue their degrees online, some degree tracks require intensive courses and some tracks offer optional intensive courses. These intensives courses are located on the Liberty University campus and allow students to interact with and learn from professors face-to-face as they enhance their education through a higher level of engagement.

Most of our students have felt a deeper connection to Liberty University after completing an intensive. While completing coursework, students also have the opportunity to eat at the school’s various quality dining services, visit our state-of-the-art student center and academic buildings, and attend on-campus events. During your stay, you will be able to access a variety of other facilities.

*Pre-work and post-work may be required in Canvas.
