Minister to the Hurting and Oppressed in Your Community and Around the World with Liberty’s Humanitarian Action and Human Rights Master’s Program

Are you passionate about advocating for the oppressed? With Liberty University’s 100% online Master of Arts (MA) in Humanitarian Action and Human Rights, you can receive the biblical framework, theoretical foundation, and practical training needed to engage in human rights defense and humanitarian work on a global scale. Whether you want to craft government policy, coordinate disaster relief response, serve on the front lines aiding victims of a humanitarian crisis, or lead anti-trafficking efforts, our program can help provide the tools you need to make a difference.

The skills you gain throughout this program may prove invaluable as you pursue a career with nonprofits, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), faith-based organizations, local churches, and more. You could help those who are hurting and exploited in your own community through your local church – or you may travel overseas to participate in international humanitarian endeavors.

Our online master’s in human rights and humanitarian action places an emphasis on social responsibility, personal integrity, and sensitivity to the needs of others. You can learn how to minister to the whole person – mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual – as you prepare to serve those facing war, poverty, trauma, disease, natural disasters, and other major crises.
