Advance Your Nursing Career with Our Master’s in Nursing Administration

As a nurse, you use your skills and knowledge in health science and medical treatment to help patients overcome difficult challenges. But to use that experience to help hospitals and healthcare organizations improve and help more people, you need specialized skills beyond nursing practice. Liberty University’s M.S. in Nursing – Nursing Administration can help you use your experience in nursing and health science with leadership training to help hospitals better serve patients.

What is nursing administration?

Nursing administration is the discipline of managing nurses and healthcare personnel, resources, and patient care processes in healthcare organizations. These organizations regularly have to navigate complex government regulations, healthcare guidelines, and legal requirements while also seeking to find new ways to improve healthcare outcomes for patients. Nursing administrators use management skills, leadership techniques, and strategic thinking to assess and improve the management of these organizations.

After completing Liberty University’s MSN Nursing Administration program, you can be equipped to provide healthcare systems with efficient management. You can learn how to utilize the nursing process to perform strategic planning, fiscal and resource management, and evaluation of outcomes. You can use soundly researched techniques and procedures to create and implement a culture of safety and quality based on nursing values, advocacy, and legal, ethical, and regulatory compliance.
