Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling

Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling

Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling program prepares students to serve as staff servant-leaders involved in non-professional counseling of church members and others in a variety of ministry settings, including churches, rescue missions, and shelters. Courses provide students with a strong understanding of biblical counseling principles and strategies in order to better meet the needs of others. Students are encouraged to evaluate their own specific needs and to take advantage of available resources for personal and professional development as they seek a degree relevant to the field of pastoral counseling which is a non-licensed profession in the majority of the United States.
