Proper early childhood education development is critical for success in the classroom and future student endeavors. Liberty University’s Masters in Teaching and Learning- Early Childhood Education online degree is designed to train you in planning and implementing appropriate curriculum for younger school ages. The M.Ed. Please note that the Teaching and Learning is a non-licensure track. Students can switch to a licensure M.Ed. or MAT program but must meet credit hour and GPA qualifications.
Within the Masters in Early Childhood Education online degree, you will learn both theoretical and practical application in achieving mastery of content acquired. Characteristics of children and youth with disabilities in relation to service delivery, documentation, and legal issues will prepare you for best teaching practices and methods. Our Early Childhood centered curriculum will provide an overview of how to plan effective lessons and know how to access elementary teaching tools. As a faith-based university, classes that examine physical, cognitive, spiritual, emotion/social development, and guidance needs in early childhood education will be taught. This Early Childhood Education Master’s degree will build upon foundational components to prepare for controversies related to early childhood education.
Preparation for organizing and operating kindergartens, nursery schools, daycares, and playgroups for children will be explored in this degree program. Important behavioral management techniques will also be covered in relation to research and instructional approaches and methods for managing behaviors effectively. Masters in Early Childhood Education online students will have the opportunity to apply these concepts by completing an internship/ practicum. This hands-on experience will help bring the educational lessons and real-world application together.
