Our Master of Science in Public Safety – Fire Administration consists of 2 sections: core public safety courses and fire administration courses.
In the core courses, you will study crisis and first responder training. You will also explore disaster management, the fundamentals of public safety leadership, and methods for managing public sector organizations. In addition, you can develop a working knowledge of legal and contemporary political issues that affect people who work in public safety, public service, and politics.
The fire administration specialization focuses on specific administrative issues that executive fire officers face. You will study leadership skills for the executive firefighter, human resources and budget management, community risk mitigation, and the legal implications surrounding fire and emergency services. In addition, you’ll be able to further study the fundamentals of hazard mitigation.

Official transcripts are required within 60 days of the admissions decision or before non-attendance drops for the first set of matriculated classes, whichever comes first, and will prevent enrollment into future terms until all official transcripts have been received.

An acceptable official college transcript is one that has been issued directly from the institution and is in a sealed envelope. If you have one in your possession, it must meet the same requirements. If your previous institution offers electronic official transcript processing, they can send the document directly to luoverify@liberty.edu.
