The core pastoral counseling courses will address a variety of topics, including crisis intervention, family issues, counseling theory, theological doctrine, and multicultural issues. You can also gain real-world experience by completing a supervised internship, which includes at least 150 hours, including 25 hours of face-to-face pastoral counseling experience. With a master’s in pastoral counseling, you can be better prepared to pursue work in a variety of settings, like churches, hospitals, correctional facilities, military bases, and pastoral counseling centers.

Official transcripts are required within 60 days of the admissions decision or before non-attendance drops for the first set of matriculated classes, whichever comes first, and will prevent enrollment into future terms until all official transcripts have been received.

An acceptable official college transcript is one that has been issued directly from the institution and is in a sealed envelope. If you have one in your possession, it must meet the same requirements. If your previous institution offers electronic official transcript processing, they can send the document directly to luoverify@liberty.edu.
