Liberty University's online Master of Arts in Religion – Community Chaplaincy program will equip you to provide pastoral care and biblical guidance through the chaplaincy. You will be given practical tools to counsel those serving in the U.S. military, parachurch ministries, large companies, as well as individuals in rest homes. Courses cover topics such as strategic planning in ministry, the history of Christianity, the role of chaplains, hermeneutics, and the Old and New Testaments. Graduates of this program will gain a deeper understanding of the cultural challenges facing chaplains and a Scriptural foundation for sharing the Gospel in a wide variety of settings.
