After completing the Bachelor of Science degree, you may choose to continue for a 5th year to earn licensure in elementary education through the MAT.

An online degree in pre-teacher preparation will give you the opportunity to practice educational planning by creating lesson plans and units. Courses teach you to evaluate educational methods and interventions such as differentiated learning and direct instruction. You will also explore current educational trends practiced in today’s private and public schools, while gaining insight into the development and influence of a Christian worldview in elementary education.

The B.S. Elementary Education Interdisciplinary Studies provides an educational foundation that can help you become a teacher candidate in a graduate education program. The program expands upon the theories and methodology of Christian education that will assist those who will work in Christian schools, churches, and the home.

After completing the program, you will be eligible for a teaching certificate from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) by submitting the form below.  It will also prepare you for our MAT elementary licensure program.

The Association of Christian Schools International recognizes our B.S. in Education for an ACSI Certificate.  This enables you to be qualified to teach in most Christian schools.  Just complete this form and send it to to apply for your ACSI Certificate.
