Bachelor of Science in Biblical and Educational Studies

Liberty University’s Bachelor of Science in Biblical and Educational Studies is designed to equip students to meet the growing need for biblically trained teachers who will impact the Christian education system.

Courses provide students with an understanding of church history and theological issues, while integrating practical teaching skills such as classroom management and educational philosophy. 

After completing this degree, you may choose to continue for a fifth year to earn licensure through the MAT or continue in advanced studies at the graduate or seminary level through a number of online master's degree programs offered by Liberty.

Graduates of this program meet the requirements for ACSI certification.

2013-2014 Tuition

$340 per credit hour (based on full-time enrollment)

Credit Hours

  • 120 total hours
  • 30 hours must be taken through Liberty
  • 50 percent (18 hours) of major must be taken through Liberty
  • 30 hours of upper-level courses are a required part of the 120 total hours
