This online format allows you to remain active in your job, with your family, and in your community without the worry of having to take courses on campus.

You don’t have to be an education major to study learning disabilities. Our 15-credit-hour Minor in Special Education is designed to equip you with the knowledge needed to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

If you are interested in further study of special education, our non-licensure bachelor’s degree in special education interdisciplinary studies is a great stepping stone to a graduate licensure program, such as our Master of Arts in Teaching – Special Education. You could also pursue a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) instead, which can help you earn your teaching license sooner.

Liberty University’s Minor in Special Education online courses are designed to introduce you to key concepts, learning processes, and teaching strategies in special education. In the special education minor, you will study learning problems and intervention techniques for working with students with disabilities.

At Liberty, our professors are dedicated to Training Champions for Christ through a Christian worldview. Our hope is that you take our training and integrate it into your teaching as you prepare students for success in life.
