There are a number of differences between public policy and public administration. Our Master of Public Administration programs seek to prepare students for a wide variety of challenges that come with administrative positions, such as city management and budget analysis.
On the other hand, public policy workers spend the majority of their time focused on mainly policy. If you’re interested in a legislative career field, a public policy degree may be a good fit for you. If you want to make public administration the sole focus of your studies, Liberty’s master’s in public administration degree online may be a better fit.
You will have the opportunity to network with future leaders in public policy and administration from around the country!
