Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Certificate in Business Administration?
A certificate is a short-length and focused set of college classes in a specific topic area. The online certificate courses in business administration you take during this program are also found in our full bachelor’s degree in business administration but without the addition of general education content. This means that you can dive into training that can help you get started toward your career goals before you commit to earning a full degree.
Can you transfer classes from a certificate to a degree?
Yes! Certificates are designed to give you a fast track to take specific courses to help you with your immediate training and knowledge goals. But these classes aren’t unique to the certificate track. You will find these courses on the degree plans for the bachelor’s degree of the same topic. The courses you take in the undergraduate certificate of business administration online can also count toward the course requirements in the BS in Business Administration.
What can you do with a certificate in business management?
Liberty’s Undergraduate Certificate in Business Administration gives you a focused and in-depth survey of important business management techniques. Since every industry needs people with management skills, you can apply what you learn in the business administration certificate to leadership roles in business, government, and nonprofit organizations.
Are certificates worth it?
If you have a college degree in an unrelated field and find yourself working in a business management role, then a certificate can help you fill in the gaps in your current knowledge.
