Liberty University's Master of Education in Teaching & Learning with a specialization in Elementary Education is designed for individuals interested in teaching elementary education, but not necessarily seeking licensure. With core courses covering curriculum development and understanding behaviors, you will also learn how to teach math, natural sciences, language acquisition, and reading skills. The online Elementary Education degree program will culminate in the completion of a directed practicum, through which you will gain invaluable experience in the world of education.
Our M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning - Elementary Education online degree strives to produce educators and school leaders who model high academic, moral, and spiritual standards before their peers, and who have dedicated their lives to educational leadership. Concurrent with this goal, the Master’s in Elementary Education degree offered through the Liberty University School of Education is designed to prepare candidates for effective leadership in Christian, public, and private schools. Please note that the online Elementary Education degree is a non-licensure track. Students can switch to an M.Ed. that leads to licensure or Master of Arts in Teaching program but must meet credit hour and GPA qualifications.
