Graduates of the online EdD in Community Care and Counseling will have a fully accredited doctorate that may provide opportunities to publish academic research and pursue college-level teaching, as well as pursue an advanced counselor role. The practical skills and knowledge in Liberty University’s online Marriage and Family Therapy area of study will equip students to serve in pre-marital counseling, counseling newlyweds and older couples, and other specialized marital counseling roles. Students may also be qualified to provide counseling services for family counseling and counseling parents of children with disabilities or behavioral issues.
