Bachelor of Science in Religion — Christian Counseling
Liberty University’s Bachelor of Science in Religion — Christian Counseling equips students to meet the growing need for trained counselors who can offer the highest-quality care from a Christian perspective. Students are introduced to the issues facing today's patient and the biblical basis for counseling as a ministry.
Courses provide students with a strong understanding of principles and practices of care, including training within the areas of counseling women, children, family, and married couples. Lessons are taught by some of the industry’s most renowned experts in the field of Christian counseling, such as Dr. Ed Hindson, Dr. Ron Hawkins, Dr. Tim Clinton, Dr. Gary Smalley, and many others.
Graduates of this program are prepared for a wide range of positions in the counseling field, as well as advanced studies at the graduate or divinity level through a number of online master's degree programs offered by Liberty.

- 120 total hours
- 30 hours must be taken through Liberty
- 50 percent (18 hours) of major must be taken through Liberty
