What Will You Study in Our Online Geography Classes?
A geography minor introduces you to the rich tapestry of Earth’s environments and human societies. As a student pursuing this minor, you can gain a foundational understanding of geography through our Introduction to Geography course. You can also learn about the principles of physical geology, oceanography, and meteorology in our Elements of Earth Science course. Additionally, you’ll have the freedom to select some elective classes in the topics that interest you. Each course in the minor is designed to help you understand the Earth and how people connect with the ecosystem they live in.

- Choose any 3 GEOG 300-400 level courses
- Choose 1 course from the following:

- PHSC 311 – Oceanography
- PHSC 312 – Meteorology
- PHSC 313 – Mineralogy and Petrology
- Any GEOG course not already applying to the minor
- Any HIWD 300-400 level course
