Welcome to the start of a new academic year! We are excited to welcome you to the start of your next step in your journey towards graduation. For many of you, this will be your first semester with us and that may seem daunting or exciting! For others, it will be a familiar return, perhaps even the beginning of your last semester in your degree! Regardless of how long you have been with Liberty University, one thing remains consistent. With the start of a new academic year comes a fresh start. An opportunity to work hard and achieve the goals that you have set for yourself and to move closer to that ultimate goal, graduation!
As you start this new year, we encourage you to make the most of your time with us! Engage with your classmates and professors. Do not be afraid to ask questions and broaden your understanding! Don’t hesitate to seek guidance from the faculty and staff who are here to support you or to utilize the many resources available for your learning. Our goal as the staff and faculty is to help you navigate your college experience and ensure that you get the most out of your time with us. We take your success seriously and want to help you to achieve academic excellence in whatever way we can.
At the beginning of this new year, it is important to set goals for yourself and to strive to do your best and to excel in academics. But we also encourage you to maintain balance and set aside time for your own wellbeing, self-care and making connections with your fellow students. Remember that your degree is not a race, and it is vital that you take care of yourself while you pursue this difficult but rewarding goal that you have set for yourself. If you are ever in need of support or help, all you need to do is ask. The faculty and staff around you are here to support you on this journey and our goal is to help you get to that finish line!

It is our hope that you will gain experience and good memories that will last a lifetime as you become Champions for Christ during your time with us. Online Life is here to support you by helping you stay connected, engaged, and encouraged throughout your academic journey. As an online student, you are a vital part of the Liberty community, and our team is dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for you to grow both personally and spiritually.
Online Life offers a wide range of services designed specifically with you in mind. We host virtual events, book studies, and workshops so you can build relationships with fellow students no matter where you live. We also coordinate in-person events across the country, giving you the chance to connect face-to-face with other online students in your area.
In addition, Online Life provides resources such as the On Life Podcast, which features encouraging conversations focused on faith, personal growth, and navigating life as a student. These opportunities are designed to help you find community, deepen your faith, and stay motivated throughout your program.
