Liberty University is coming to Charlotte, North Carolina! Join fellow LU Online students, professors, and families for a special evening of community, networking, and learning. Hear from a Liberty University professor, connect with students in your region, and enjoy dinner together.
The cost is $25 per person. Space is limited, and registration closes Tuesday, August 11.

Welcome to the Mountain: Saturday, August 22, 10:30 AM-3:00 PM, at Liberty University
Kick off the 2026-27 academic year with a fun, family-friendly day on campus featuring a catered Chipotle lunch and ice skating at the LaHaye Ice Center! Join fellow LU Online students and their families on Saturday, August 22, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for food, fun, and opportunities to connect with other online students. Registration includes lunch and skate rentals. Cost is $10 per adult and $5 per child (ages 3-12). Space is limited, and registration closes August 19.
New Online Student Welcome Week – Virtual Event: August 26, 27, & 28
Kick off your Liberty journey at our New Student Welcome event offered on Wednesday, August 26, 2:30 P.M. (EST), Thursday, August 27, 9:00 P.M. (EST), and Friday, August 28,10:00 AM (EST). Choose a time that works best for you.
At the new Online Student Welcome, you will meet the Online Life team, connect with key Liberty offerings like Student Life, Pastoral Counseling, JFL, and Logos Bible Software. Dr. Costin will be a part of the event with a special message to welcome you to your first semester at Liberty! Following the main session, you can join a breakout room to meet other students and network!

Museum of the Bible: Saturday, September 12, 8:15 a.m.-6:45 p.m.
Join Online Life on Saturday, September 12, for a day at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. Explore the museum, enjoy lunch together, and participate in Engaging with the History of Bible Translations, a special seminar led by author and content creator Tim Wildsmith. You’ll learn how Scripture has been translated and preserved throughout history while enjoying a guided tour of the museum’s Floor 4 – History of the Bible exhibit, featuring many of the Bibles and artifacts discussed during the seminar.
We’ll meet at Oak Dale Church at Vint Hill in Nokesville, VA and travel together by charter bus, eliminating the need to drive and park in D.C. We’ll meet at the church at 8:15 a.m., and we expect to return by 6:45 p.m. Cost is $40 per person ($15 for children ages 5 and under) and includes museum admission, seminar participation, a boxed lunch, and round-trip transportation. Because we are traveling by charter bus, all attendees must be registered, including infants and young children, and each passenger must have an assigned seat. Children who normally require a car seat must be secured in an approved car seat provided by their parent or guardian.
