Here is a quick overview of some vital resources:

  • ASIST — The Automated Student Information Services Tool (ASIST) is a resource center used for completing financial aid, seeing admissions information, and accessing your academic information as a student.
  • Canvas — Canvas is a virtual learning application that gives you access to your course information and materials. It will hold your class content, homework, tests, discussion boards, and more.
  • Course Registration Tool — The Course Registration Tool allows you to view your Degree Completion Plan and select and register for your courses each semester.
  • Microsoft Outlook or Webmail email account — Liberty will send out important instructions regarding classes and other requirements for your education. Your student email is the official communication method for students, professors, and academic departments. Please regularly check your student email for updates and important messages, as this will be the only email account we will send information to from here on out.
  • MyLU — The myLU portal allows you to access information on academics, athletics, student life, finance, campus news, IT, and more – all on both desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Student Onboarding Checklist — this is your most vital tool to organize, prioritize, and assist you in your personalized admissions process.
