Our Concept of Instructional Media for Student Success
Liberty University’s Instructional Media team designs and develops instructional materials for our online student body. It is the goal of the Instructional Media team to provide these professional materials to help you become a more confident learner! Webinars and tutorial videos are a great way for you to supplement your education with instructional media that can minimize stress, provide insight into processes and procedures you might have questions about, and make you feel that you are part of the Liberty University community.
By clicking either “Webinars” or “Tutorials” below, you can explore the upcoming webinars we have scheduled as well as view recordings of all past webinars. You also have access to several tutorial videos developed by our Instructional Media team, covering subjects like Canvas, your Degree Completion Plan, and Financial Check-In.
We encourage you to tune in during the semester to one or more of our live-streamed webinars. Each webinar lasts around 50 minutes, with the last 10 minutes reserved for questions for the panel or presenter in real-time.
Every semester, we present webinars like Getting Started with Liberty and host an online New Student Orientation. You can also benefit from our webinar on how to Earn Transfer and Life Experience Credit as well as a detailed overview of Navigating Canvas. All of our students, new and current, can benefit from webinars like How to Turn a Job Fair into a Job Offer, and How to Expand Your Search Using Google Scholar for your research papers.
Tutorials are videos that are 5 minutes or less and provide guidance and instruction on processes or procedures. Our Instructional Media team has developed several tutorial videos covering topics like Canvas, the Financial Check-In Process, Registering for Classes, understanding your Degree Completion Plan, and other important student resources.
These tutorial videos can help you be more knowledgeable and confident in many different areas so that you can focus your time and energy on your coursework.
