Earn Industry Certification on the Aerosonde UAS

The Liberty University School of Aeronautics (LUSOA) builds a foundation in flight, mechanics, and unmanned operations. In this aviation department, you will have the opportunity to operate the DJI Mavic Pro multi-rotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) – as well as various others for small UAV certification. You will also train and become certified on the Aerosonde medium UAV through Textron Systems as both a Crew Chief and an Operator.* As a student at Liberty, you have the opportunity to be employed as a UAV instructor upon completion of the UAV course. You can also train and become certified on the Aerosonde medium UAV through Textron Systems as both a Crew Chief and an Operator.*

*Certification in Medium-Sized UAS limited to US Citizens Only.
