We encourage every student to get involved and make a difference. It’s easy to start; here’s how:
Join A Club: Joining a club is a great way to develop your passions, as well as meet other students with similar interests. SGA oversees all student clubs and provides funds to help clubs grow and thrive. Check out our list of student clubs and join today!
Represent Students: If you are passionate about serving your fellow students, apply to be a Delegate. The House of Delegates is comprised of students who love Liberty University and are eager to bring about positive change on campus.
Other Service Opportunities:
Elections: Contact Megan Snyder or James Nyberg.
Events: Ashley Loefke runs SGA’s events team. Fill out the application form!
Communications: Contact Abbey Hayes.
Spiritual Life: Contact Lydia Elrod.
If you have talent to offer SGA but don’t see a good opportunity explicitly listed above or in the rest of the website, email the Chief of Staff, Calum Best.
The SGA strives to serve students with integrity, honesty, and excellence. We believe God has granted us an incredible opportunity and it is our responsibility to serve others with full humility as Jesus did.
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.”
1 Peter 4:10-11
Who Are We?
Liberty’s Student Government Association exists to represent each and every student. We accomplish this by working with the administration to bring about positive change on campus. SGA consists of three separate branches, each with their own unique purpose and function. From proposing bills to the school’s administration, to funding and administrating student Clubs, SGA serves as the bridge between students and administration.
