Flight Operations Scheduling
As a student in our program, you will be expected to register for the Training Block that works best for your schedule. A Training Block is a 0-credit hour scheduling lab, on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday rotation, scheduled by you through Liberty University’s registration portal on ASIST. During your Training Block, you will be expected to be present in the Flight Operations building for flight training activities including flight lessons, simulator lessons or ground lessons.
Depending on your training level, you will register for AVIA 010, Private Pilot Training Block Lab; AVIA 020, Instrument Rating Training Block Lab; or AVIA 030, Commercial Pilot Training Block Lab. You must register for your Training Block first, followed by the registration of the corresponding AVIA flight class (Private: AVIA 220, 225; Instrument: AVIA 320; Commercial: AVIA 325, 326, 327). Below is a PDF you can use to better explain the process of registering for a Training Block.
For any specific questions regarding your Training Block and flight scheduling, please email email@example.com and a member of our Scheduling team would be happy to assist you.
