Original posts must be well-reasoned responses to provided prompts, with supporting documentation from course readings, presentations, and other carefully evaluated sources. Follow-up replies to at least two classmates must be at least 150 words and demonstrate critical engagement with the ideas of others.
In each assigned Module: Week, the student will be provided a specific prompt for applying a professional writing workplace scenario within each discipline. Current and correct documentation style formatting appropriate for each discipline will be utilized. The student should reference the assignment instructions for each assignment for specific requirements.
The personal perspective or experience often informs the intellectual and academic issues within a discipline. Therefore, the student will locate scholarly, peer-reviewed journal articles relating to the weekly topic/content for Writing in the Disciplines (WID). The first journal article has been provided. The student will write a reflection of at least 350 words in APA style.
