WMUS 638 Ableton Live Contemporary Worship

This course will give students a thorough understanding of applications for Ableton Live in a contemporary worship context. Topics include mastering the use of pre‐recorded content (“stems” or “tracks”) while preserving flexibility, real‐time content generation for accompaniment, advanced church audio/video/lighting automation using Ableton as a central control interface, and computer hardware/software configurations for reliability and adaptability.
