Internship Update and Signed Log Assignments (8)
A student in this internship is required to complete and track 135 hours of teaching, planning, creating curriculum, and observation at an approved organization site under the direct supervision of a TESL credentialed supervisor using the Internship Update and Signed Log Form.
Supervisor Evaluation Assignments (2)
At the halfway point of this course, the student will need to submit a Midterm Supervisor Evaluation form to his/her internship supervisor to complete and return to the professor by uploading the evaluation form into Canvas. After the student has completed 135 hours of service in his/her internship site/location, the student should submit the Final Supervisor Evaluation form to his/her intern supervisor and request an internship evaluation from his/her supervisor, which must be returned to the professor by submitting the final evaluation in Canvas.
Reflection Paper Assignment
The student will write a 750-1,000 word reflection paper in current APA format that focuses on the internship experience.
Students will submit the TESL 499 Internship Application that was approved by a TESL Internship Coordinator. This is for record-keeping purposes.
