Rationale
Statistics and regression analysis are the necessary foundations for economic forecasting and analytics as well as and managerial economics. These fields are all necessary for drawing conclusions based on data.

Project Assignments (2)
Student will apply concepts from the course to a dataset of the student’s choosing. This culminating project is submitted in two parts. The first will present the motivation for choosing the dataset and some preliminary statistical results, the discussion portion of which should be at least 100 words. The second will be a 15-minute video presentation of the final results.
Quizzes: Exams (2)
There will be one midterm exam and a final exam. Both will be timed. Both will be open-book/open-notes, contain 1 file upload question, have a 2 hour time limit, and allow 1 attempt. The student will download the exam document linked in the quiz question, respond to the questions, and upload the document via the file upload link.
