PLCY 811 Quantitative Methods II
Course Description
This course is designed to give students tools for understanding and avoiding the misuse of quantitative data. Using case studies, students will learn how to identify common analytical biases and errors that lead to faulty conclusions or flawed applications of research findings.

`Methodological Application and SPSS Assignments (6)
The student will complete and submit six Methodological Application and SPSS Assignments in this course. Each assignment includes practical application of the material from the text and lectures to ensure the student can integrate content, apply knowledge, use SPSS, and accurately interpret statistical findings. Questions will be both theoretical and methodological. (CLO: A, B, C, D, E)
Extended Quiz Assignments (2)
Each quiz will cover the Learn material for the assigned module(s): week(s). Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 20 multiple choice and 4 short-answer questions, and have a 2 hour time limit.
