Leadership is a key factor in any institution, especially in the public sector. As such, this course examines and develops public leadership skills for the 21st century by embracing community interaction. Students will be exposed to theoretical leadership concepts in real world situations, as well as, Biblical principles of leadership while being able to examine their own personal style of leadership.
This course will compliment the Public Administration program by providing students with leadership concepts and tools that are derived from a public administration perspective and a biblically Christian worldview. Upon completion of the class, the student will have an understanding of core leadership concepts and be able to apply them to the private and non-profit sectors.
