Rationale
Our pressing concern at the inception of class is that God cares about how we view and use money. This course seeks to meet that challenge by equipping the student to biblically guide individuals on how to wisely handle their finances.

Discussions (4)
Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student will complete 4 Discussions that specifically relate to weekly content. The first 3 Discussions will be completed in 2 parts: 1) the student will submit a thread in answer to the question provided (300-word minimum), and 2) the student will post replies to at least 2 other classmates’ threads (150-word minimum each). The final discussion, Discussion: Money Mission Statement, will include a thread and a reflection with no required replies. The thread must be at least 300 words and the reflection post must be at least 200 words. Each thread should include integration of biblical themes and Christian worldview and should be supported with at least 1 scholarly and 1 biblical citation cited in current APA format. Case Study Assignments (3)
The student will complete 3 Case Study Assignments. In these assignments, the student will be presented with a specific case scenario applicable to the course material. The student will respond to each case study using the material covered in class up to that date to present 3 coaching sessions. Each Case Study Assignment must include 4-5 pages of content, not including the title and reference page, and follow current APA format. Each paper should include an opening section, a section for each of the 3 coaching sessions, and a conclusion. Each paper should include the following components: an opening section describing the client’s reason for seeking coaching, a review of the client’s strengths and weaknesses, evidence of assisting the client in identifying and developing goals, evidence of core coaching principles and strategies, evidence of the coach’s ethical and legal obligations to coaching clients, and a demonstration of spiritual principles that provide guidance and support for the coaching approach. Each Case Study Assignment should utilize at least 3 references, one of which should be the Bible, cited in current APA format. (CLOs: A, B, C, D, E)
Quizzes (4)
The student will complete 4 quizzes which are cumulative and cover the material presented in the Learn material. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 25 multiple-choice and true/false questions, have a 45-minute time limit, and allow for 1 attempt. (CLOs: A, B, C, D)
