Course Description
This course focuses on structure and completion of the Ph.D. dissertation that includes chairperson review and scholarly discourse. Students who do not successfully defend their dissertation must re-enroll in HIST 989.

This course focuses on the writing, editing and defense needed to complete a Ph.D. dissertation in history.
Course Assignment

The student will submit drafts of their prepared chapters.
The student will submit revisions of the chapters requested.
The student will submit a revised and edited copy of their dissertation.
The student will submit a draft of their complete dissertation.
