GEOG 200 Introduction to Geography

The purpose of this course is to provide the student with a spatial perspective of the world, utilizing a Christian worldview. The integration of human and physical characteristics of the world are reviewed in present day and historical contexts. The student equipped with a geographic perspective will be better prepared to fulfill the Great Commission in his/her vocational pursuits.

Geographic Solutions for Real World Challenges: Integrating AI and a Christian Worldview Assignment

This assignment is a research paper and capstone assignment in which the student will apply geographic (5 themes of geography) and research skills to solve a real-world problem. In addition, this assignment requires the student to thoughtfully integrate artificial intelligence (AI) as a tool for research, planning, or implementation, and to reflect on his or her work through a Christian worldview, emphasizing stewardship, service, and ethical responsibility. The paper must be 1,000–1,250 words, use Times New Roman 12-point font with 1-inch margins, include a cover page, the required sections (shown below), a reference page, a map, and a realistic budget. The student must cite at least 5 scholarly sources (other than Scripture, the textbook, and Wikipedia) in current APA format, and 1 or more scripture reference. (CLO: A, B, C, D, F: CIL 1, 2, 4)
