EDGT 366 School of Education Gate 3 – UG Initial Licensure – Opt Out

This course is intended to provide guidance and information regarding the application requirements for the non-licensure capstone course. Candidates will submit Gate 3 Application requirements in this course.

Course Requirements Checklist

Degree Completion Plan Audit Review Assignment

The student will submit an up-to-date Degree Completion Plan Audit Review to determine if they are eligible for course completion and capstone course enrollment. (CLO: A, B, C).

These quizzes will be open-book/open-notes, contain a number of multiple choice questions, have a 2-hour time limit, and allow 1 attempt.

  1. Quiz: Licensure Opt-Out Acknowledgments
    • This quiz will document the student’s understanding of the program impact and licensure non-eligibility impact by choosing to opt out of licensure eligibility and student teaching. (CLO: A, B, C). 
  2. Quiz: Degree Completion Plan Audit
    • This quiz will document the student’s understanding course completion and of the GPA requirements for degree completion. (CLO: A, B, C). 
  3. Quiz: Licensure Opt-Out Courses
    • This quiz will document the student’s understanding of what courses will be required in lieu of student teaching due to choosing to opt out of licensure eligibility and student teaching. (CLO: A, B, C)
