Rationale
As today’s cyberspace expands its dimensions rapidly with new and exciting applications and features, it also brings along a range of new privacy and security risks. Thus, it is important for the students to be able to identify these risks and comprehend the current approaches and developments for mitigating the security risks and addressing privacy and anonymity concerns.

Discussions (2)
Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. There will be 2 discussions in this course. The student is required to create a new thread in response to the provided topic for each discussion. The new thread is to be a minimum of 400 words and demonstrates course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmate’s threads. Each reply must be at least 250 words.
Writing Assignments (6)
There will be 2 types of writing assignments in this course. The first type of writing assignments will be answering to given questions relating to the topics of the course’s modules. The second type will be writing reviews of selected research articles. For each writing assignment, the student’s submission must be written in current APA format and must contain at least 1,000 words.
Course Research Project Assignments (3)
The Course Research Project consists of 3 parts: Topic Selection and Introduction, Investigation and Review, and Discussion and Summary. The student will write a research-oriented paper in current APA format that focuses on a selected topic. The final submission of the project must include at least 5 references in addition to the course’s reading materials and the Bible and must contain at least 2,500 words.
