After reading the Course Syllabus and Student Expectations, the student will complete the related checklist found in the Course Overview.

Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student will complete one Discussion: Introduction Video in this course. During the first week, the student will record a short video introducing himself/herself to the class. The student should post this in the initial thread. The length of the video is up to the student (but typically 2-4 minutes). Then, the student will post a written response of 200 words to 2 other classmates’ video introductions.

Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student will complete five standard discussions within this course. The content of this course is extensive and will require the student to look at a variety of concepts in a variety of ways. The student will have to think analytically, articulate carefully, and work quickly. The student will prepare an initial thread and then respond to at least 2 of their peers. 

Select a theory from Black’s (2023) Chapter 2 and apply it to a corporate crisis that has occurred within the last 10 years. How does this theory inform the circumstances and the outcomes of that specific organizational event? This paper will be approximately 1,000 words and in current APA format. The paper must include at least 8 references, including the course texts and the Bible.

The student will explore a crisis through the lens of the Christian worldview. They will have the opportunity to support their crisis decisioning utilizing both the texts, other outside sources, and the Bible. This paper will be approximately 1,000 words in current APA format. It will include at least 8 references, including the course texts (2) and the Bible.

The student will have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the crisis lifecycle as they design the pre-crisis plans in a potential organizational crisis.  This paper must be 1500 words and in current APA format. It must include at least 8 references, including the course texts and the Bible. 

Each quiz will cover the Learn material for the assigned module. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 2-3 short answer questions, and have a 1 hour time limit. The Student should support their responses using the texts and other outside sources.
