It allows the student the opportunity to write and submit the Dissertation-in-Praxis, document the program, process, or product produced for the program in the form of an academic artifact, and publicly present their work to their faculty supervisor and academic peers.

This assignment involves the creation and submission of the first draft of the Dissertation-in-Praxis document. This document follows the template provided at the Christian Leadership Doctoral Programs Canvas site. This document must contain all elements of the dissertation as required by the Handbook, follow all matters of style as found in the latest edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA format) and the EdD APA Supplemental Style Requirements as listed in the Handbook, and be free of spelling and grammar errors. Only submit a complete copy of all dissertation-related materials including front matter, chapters 1 – 5, references, and appendices. The document must be a minimum of 80 pages in length.
