CLED 888 Praxis IV: Implementation I

Under the supervision of a faculty member, the student will initiate the implementation of an approved program, product, or process that serves as an artifact demonstrating and applying the student’s doctoral-level scholarship and professionalism related to their cognate field of study.

This course is designed to track the implementation of the student’s program, process, or product as proposed and approved in CLED887. It serves as the first in a sequence of two implementation courses, allowing students an opportunity to report their progress in the implementation of their praxis project and to gain supervisor guidance from their faculty supervisor.

Quizzes

Weekly Implementation reports are required in this course. Each report has a different focus and allows the student to document progress in implementing the praxis program, process, or product. Three reports require documentation of meetings with the student’s “Cooperating Coach.” Four reports involve formal check-in opportunities with the “Faculty Supervisor,” which may include required Team meetings. The final report is a transition report designed to report the project’s status before entering CLED889. Students must submit all eight reports to receive a P grade. Late reports will follow the University’s late assignments policy below.
