Rationale
Leadership courses tend to focus on helping the student develop his/her skills as leaders. This course, however, focuses on the personal character development of the leader. By studying portraits of leaders in the Bible and by examining the process of ordering one’s private world, it is hoped that the student develops into a Christian leader who stands the test of time.

The student will choose 1 discipline and practice that discipline for a week, while making observations and taking notes. Then the student will submit a 5–10-minute video or audio reflection summarizing his/her experience. (CLO: A, C, D)
