Course Description

It is imperative that students know how to provide Spirit-empowered and effective leadership to various forms of digital ministry. This course equips students to do just that by providing not only a conceptual framework but also practical and experience-based strategies that encourage and edify those who participate in digital ministries. Students will learn how to design and develop complementary ministry activities and experiences that will sustain interactive engagement leading to mutual growth in Christ.

Rationale

This course is the last in a series of courses addressing the practice of digital ministry. This course concludes the process of building a digital ministry by introducing students to those practices of developing key components as well as engaging in the administration of various elements of digital ministry.

Digital Resource Kit Assignments (4)

The student will develop Digital Resource Kit that will provide a framework for developing and administrating digital ministry for various contexts. The first assignments will allow students to develop an overarching framework for designing and launching resources. (CLOs: A, B)

Digital Resource Kit: Biblical Outline Assignment

Based on the reading, discussion content, and personal experiences, the student will develop a working outline that will guide the theological framework of a Digital Resource Kit.

Digital Resource Kit: Conceptual Model Assignment

Based on the reading, discussion content, and personal experiences, the student will continue to develop a working outline that will guide the conceptualization framework of a Digital Resource Kit.

Digital Resource Kit: Leadership Outline Assignment

Based on the reading, discussion content, and personal experiences, the student will continue to develop a working outline that will identify a leadership framework for the Digital Resource Kit.

Digital Resource Kit: Final Product Assignment

The student will finalize the Digital Resource Kit by assembling material from the working outlines. The Kit must be curated as a resource for digital ministry development.

Digital Ministry Proposal Assignments (2)

Based on the development of the Digital Resource Kit, the student will develop a proposal for a digital campus ministry. This assignment will allow students to gain some leadership experience by designing and proposing a framework for digital ministry. (CLOs: B, C)

Digital Ministry Proposal: Rationale Assignment

In crafting a proposal, the student will lay out a rationale, measurable outcomes, and recommendations for community building.

Digital Ministry Proposal: Strategy Assignment

For this strategy assignment, students will lay out an approach for designing digital discipleship, online worship, and methods of engaging digital participants.
