Rationale
Integration of psychology, theology, and spirituality provides the student with an overview of integration models as a theoretical and practical foundation for faith-based counseling. In order to practice Christian counseling, professional counselors must be able to articulate a Christian worldview and understand the way in which their worldview informs counseling theory and practice.

Discussions (2)
Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to submit a thread in response to the provided prompt for each discussion. Each thread must be at least 300 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 classmates’ threads. Each reply must be at least 200 words.
Journal Article Review Assignment
The student will complete one review of an article from the list provided. The review must be at least 3–5 double-spaced pages, excluding the title and reference pages. The assignment will include a summary, an interaction with the article, and an application for how the information provided can be used in a clinical or church setting. The Journal Article Review must be completed in current APA format and will be submitted via Turnitin (a plagiarism detection tool) for grading.
Paper: Entwistle Review Assignment
The student will write a review of Entwistle's (2015) book from Chapters 8-11. This paper must be double-spaced and adhere to the word counts provided for each of the sections. Each review must also be completed in current APA format and will be submitted via Turnitin (a plagiarism detection tool) for grading. Paper: Neff and McMinn Review Assignments (2)
The student will write a review of Neff and McMinn's (2020) book in two separate papers: Part A (Chapters 1-3) and Part B (Chapters 4-6 and Final Conversation). Each paper must also be completed in current APA format and will be submitted in the course via Turnitin (a plagiarism detection tool) for grading. Please refer to the assignment instructions on the particulars of these assignments.
Quizzes (4)
Each quiz will cover the Learn material for the assigned Modules: Weeks. Each quiz will be open-notes, contain multiple-choice and true/false questions, and have a 1-hour time limit.
