Rationale
This course directly supports the aims of Liberty University’s Statement of Purpose. The human resource manager must have the necessary skills to be able to manage effective workforce planning and employment systems to support the strategic mission of the organization. These tools will be the foundation upon which the human resource manager will be able to incorporate organizational workforce needs with the current labor market and apply appropriate labor laws and guidelines.

Read & Interact Textbook Assignments (14)
Each student will complete 14 reading activities in Connect. There will be one per chapter.
Ethical Application Assignments (6)
The student will complete 6 Ethical Applications in current APA format including the minimum requirements. The answers to each Ethical Application must be at least 600 words of original content and must be submitted through the provided Turnitin link.
Interact Assignments (2)
Each student will complete 2 Interact Activities in Connect.
Three Laws Assignment
The student will complete and submit an essay of at least 6000 words. The student is to briefly describe how the Bible is related to 3 selected U.S. employment laws related to the staffing process in an organization. A substantive integration of the Bible must be explicitly provided in relation to each U.S. employment law to earn credit. Include the course textbook and the government website for each selected law. This assignment must be submitted to Turnitin to check for originality.
Quizzes (4)
The student will complete 4 quizzes over the course textbook reading assignments in McGraw-Hill Connect. Each quiz contains 25 multiple-choice and true/false questions. The student will have 60 minutes to complete each quiz.
Quiz: Biblical Integration – Three Laws
Each student will submit a quiz providing the three laws selected to be included in the Biblical Integration – Three Laws assignment.
