Course Description

This course provides the framework for biblical stewardship with regard to financial planning. Successful completion of this course allows for students to take the Certified Kingdom Advisors (CKA) exam.

Rationale

The purpose of this course is to provide students with a biblical framework that may be used to guide their interactions with others who are seeking financial guidance. Further, the course will provide students with the requisite knowledge to sit for the CKA exam.

After reading the Course Syllabus and Student Expectations, the student will complete the related checklist found in the Course Overview. 

Initial Reflection Assignment

The student is required to write an initial reflection of the biblical application of financial planning concepts. While there is not a required word count, thorough answers are expected.

Case Study Assignments (19)

Each module has a case study that allows the student to practice the concepts they have learned. Case studies are scenarios that may occur in the workplace. While there is no required word count, questions should be thoroughly answered in APA format, as appropriate.

Final Reflection Assignment

The student will write a final reflection in current APA format that focuses on the differences and similarities the student had on biblical application of financial planning concepts. The paper must be supported, though there is no required minimum number of sources.

Quizzes (6)

Each quiz will cover the Learn material for the assigned modules. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 25 multiple-choice questions, and have a 1 hour and 30-minute time limit. Each quiz may be taken twice, with the highest score counting.
