Rationale
A major component of the healthcare administration program is the capstone course that requires students to apply what they have learned throughout the curriculum. The overall objective of the capstone course is to enable students to build upon their theoretical preparation. Students, will enhance their leadership skills and systematic problem/issue analysis skills, etc. through direct participation in case analysis and other focused experiences.

Discussions (4)
Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Each student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each discussion. Each thread must be at least 600 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, each student is required to reply to 2 other student’s threads. Each reply must be at least 200 words. The student will discuss the initial prompt within the Discussion thread, and will post his/her threads and replies. Each thread and reply must include a biblical integration, the course text, and cite at least 2 peer-reviewed sources, 5 years old or newer and in current APA format.
Assurance of Learning Exercise Assignments (4)
Each student will respond to the case questions. The student will demonstrate his/her ability to diagnose strategic issues, evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend actionable plans. In addition to the text, each student’s analysis will be supported by peer-reviewed sources cited in current APA format. Students will provide Biblical integration. Page length and number of required references will vary by assignment. The Assurance of Learning Exercise Assignment in Module 7: Week 7 will result in a PowerPoint presentation of findings to the respective organization’s board of directors.
