Rationale
The purpose of this course is to provide more detailed knowledge of the last four knowledge areas of the PMBOK. At the successful completion of this course and BUSI 414, students should be prepared to sit for the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam. Additional project management experience and these courses will allow the student to improve their credentials to the PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Discussions (4)
Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each discussion. Each thread must be at least 300 words, demonstrate course-related knowledge, and reference at least 2 peer reviewed articles. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to at least 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be at least 150 words and add insight, references/links, and promote further discussion. All sources must be cited in current APA format.
You will complete 4 PMBOK Knowledge Area Paper Assignments of the knowledge Areas studied throughout this course. One due in each even week. For each paper you will present the phases of the Knowledge Area and explain how it is planned and executed in the aligned project process group
