An important part of a master’s degree is the completion of a capstone thesis. Under the direction of a thesis advisor, the master’s candidate completes a thesis manuscript, thesis defense, and final document submission.

After reading the Course Syllabus and Student Expectations, the student will complete the related checklist found in the Course Overview.

At the end of the thesis writing and research process, the student will defend the document and then submit it. The final version of the document should be uploaded to the learning management system and submitted to the Jerry Falwell Library.
